The villas at Amankila are just eleven, set high on a secluded stretch of coast on the Lombok Strait beneath Mount Agung, in the quiet Karangasem Regency. Each has broad terraces, an infinity pool and a series of pavilions joined by private walkways, in a modern take on Amankila’s own design: contemporary thatch and smooth crafted stone, with cues from local artisans. Owners have the resort’s services all year.
